High Park is so beautiful all year round. It's easily accessible by transit, and is a great place to escape the city for a little while. In May they have cherry blossoms that bloom too, so be prepared for a higher volume of people, but definitely worth the trip!

A great place to walk any time of the year. So many paths to follow that it is hard to repeat a visit in the same way. The animals in the zoo are great and well cared for.

I love High Park any season of the year. Great place to stroll and enjoy the park but I'm usually running through the trails or on the road. It's an oasis in the city.

This park is like Central Park of Toronto, really a nice place for a family, solo, or groups or couples. It has zoo inside, too. I had a blast here. Would definitely go there!

I walk my dog regularly at High Park. There are great off and on leash areas. The restaurant offers affordable comfort food.

My first visit to High Park was on a bright sunny Autumn day and the experience was as beautiful as it could be! Fall was in full effect in High Park, with bright bursts of colour through the central and eastern sides of the park and the sight of it was a treat to the eyes..One can simply stroll through... You can walk, cycle or run through this park and down to the lakefront. There are places to sit and just admire the view, a leash-free area for dogs, tennis courts, skating rinks and pools. The options are endless!

Get off at Highpark subway station on the Bloor line and it's a short walk away. You have got lots to do here. There is a mini zoo nice restaurant, Grenadier Pond, great hikes and the list goes on and on there is even a Chess club here!

Thank Alex M

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
