My son and I went when they had The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe Exhibit - And it was totally awesome! We got to try on costumes, and sit in thrones, and wear crowns. It was pretty cool for my son. I enjoy our rich Canadian army/military history, and was a little disappointed they didn't have a bigger exhibit... More

We were very impressed with the displays and historical information. A must if you're in the area. The Anne Frank display a year ago was very moving but also very informative. We followed our visit with an afternoon at the play at the Avon Theatre

Located a few km outside of Stratford this museum is worth a stop. Two exhibits of interest- historical costumes from Stratford Festival and several rooms devoted to the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Having taught this move to grade 5 and 6 students this would be an excellent addition to the novel study. Congratulations to the curators for their... More

The regular exhibitions were pretty limited but suitable for families. The art quilt show we saw, however, was better than average.

With time on our hands before an afternoon matinee we decided to visit the museum specifically to see the Festival Archives Exhibition: To the Vistor, the Spoils. On display were elaborate costumes from earlier performances of Richard II, Henry IV and Henry V. The exhibit that caught our eye was “My Corner of the World” an art quilt exhibit. These... More

The quilt display with quilts from around the world in the theme 'around our place' demonstrated a wide variety of talents and places. Staff were helpful. Festival costume and Lion, Witch and Wardrobe displays were well worth viewing..

Displays of militia items and history of the Perth Regiment. Costumes from Festival Theatre productions and a Canadian and International Quilt display. Also many interesting items and displays from our area's past. Featured was an exhibit from TheLion ,The Witch and The Wardrobe which was interactive. Always refreshing to visit and experience the arrival of new exhibits as well.

Much more that static displays .. it always has very interesting things going on ... brilliant exhibit re The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe is great for children and adults alike - explore the story and/or the intriguing author, C S Lewis. The museum is always a wonderful visit with lots of interesting, changing exhibits. I was leading a tour for Stratford visitors from Australia and The Stratford Perth Museum was on the agenda. Quilts (actually works of art, large and small) were on display as well as The Stratford Festival, The Witch, The Lion and the Wardrobe costumes and props were... More

Went to see the Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe exhibition there as Stratford has this on its playbill this summer! Great exhibit and great activities for the children to complete to understand better the play. I loved the quilt exhibit on the walls and am amazing at the work of art put in these quilts. A must-see this summer.
