A great way to spend a summers afternoon! Tour the lock museum, see the lock in action then take the boat cruise up the river to experience the whole liftlock!

Beautiful place to visit in the summer and watch the boats going up and down the world's highest hydraulic lift lock. The fall is beautiful as the leaves are changing too!

Ontario has so much to offer. Stop and think about the height and the amount of water that these locks control. REally an engineering marvel. Take a boat tour and experience first hand

We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Peterborough as it is close to town, and the cruise boat dock is right outside.

$57.50 for dinner cruise, it's a great deal, the cruise is scenic it's a 3 hour evening cruise traveling south on the river
