It was very relaxing to watch the boats go through the locks. Such a special lift lock, a real learning experience. Hopefully these locks will be in place for along time yet. An interesting movie presented in the tourism building at the locks.

Not much happens on this tour. The guide did his best to entertain everyone but a good part of the tour is just waiting for the boat to lift or fall, while sitting in very uncomfortable chairs crowded together. Not worth the price.

Liftlock Cruises Peterborough. Suggest you look them up online to see when they start this year. Don,t think they will be operating until May long weekend.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Peterborough as it is close to town, and the cruise boat dock is right outside.
