This parkway is a beautiful drive along the Ottawa River. Quite often it is the fastest way to downtown instead of the Queensway. It does have a bike/walking path as well for those that would like to take a stroll and snap a few pictures.

In the summer, our gals gang would go out and have lunch in the picnic area that located along the side of Sir John A. MacDonald Park way. It was very quiet.

Every season is nice, with river vistas plus you can have a picnic, cross country ski, bike on the path. This week for instance, there was fog and the tree branches were covered in snow, it was amazing.

Go for a walk, a bike ride or even cross country skiing. Enjoy the beauty of the Ottawa river! Spring time the water will rise a lot, and it can get flooded, but summer brings gorgeous flowers, and lots of ducks
