In times when we think nothing of going to the corner store by car, walking from one city to another is not something that comes to mind readily. But on a glorious spring day during the Canadian Tulip Festival, it was something that seemed quite...More

This is typical of Ottawa. Ottawa is so lacking in meaningful things to do or see, they consider a crappy little bridge to be some sort of tourist attraction. Pathetic.

It a wonderful example of bridge engendering and illustrates steel truss cantilever construction. It is walkable and can take you to a different Provence! Absolutely a must-walk!

You can see this from Ottawa, as well as from the river, which we did on the amphibious bus/boat tour. Impressive from under it on the river!

This was a very interesting bridge! It just looked so nastalgic. We enjoyed touring the area here also.

This bridge, over 100 years old, has a pedestrian and bicycle area adjacent to, but separate from, the vehicular traffic. It's a nice walk between cities and offers some great views of both cities.
