We had a tour of the parliament building lady showing us around was very knowledgeable and pleasant. The architecture is unbelievable.

An iconic building and grounds, with free bookable tours at the Visitor Centre across the street. Access is a good deal more relaxed than for the Capitol in Washington.

We came today but it’s raining and cold, there some construction that made the parliaments less beautiful. But it’s the best land mark that you can find in Ottawa.

You have to book the day you are visiting. Don’t worry there are plenty of tickets. Try to get your tickets in the morning.
