Good Mall - Up There with Bayshore

Went here while on the Byward Market tour. A good mall with a lot to see and a lot of great places to eat at.

I have gone there just to eat in the food court. It's beautiful, lots of choice for food and plenty of seating. You get the food on real plates with real cutlery and can also get a real glass of water so you don't need to buy bottled water. The actual is nice too with pretty much all the stores... More

- Very big shopping mall downtown Ottawa. - Three floors of lots of different types of stores. - On the second floor there is a area with restaurants and many options of food.

Mall is now expanded. It's right in the heart of downtown with most buses stopping at two sides i.e Mackenzie king station and rideau. Wheel chair accessible. Food court with lots of stalls to choose from. There is no manchuwok. Ample parking and cheap. Some tourist attractions are a 2-5min walking distance. (Rideau canal, Parliament building, amphibia tours, city hall... More

The Rideau Centre has been a fixture on the downtown shopping scene since 1983. Recently renovated it is now a better place to shop and eat. Sears is gone and now Nordstroms is the anchor store along with The Bay. What has really improved is the dining options. A new food court and the recent addition of Chipotle's Mexican Grill... More

Great location, central to everything - Byward Market, Rideau Canal, Parliament House, University of Ottawa and many major hotels. Easy to access, if you are not staying in downtown or civic, many buses go via Mackenzie Bridge, Rideau Street or Byward Market. This centre connects department store Simons, the Shaw Centre and the Westin Hotel. This looks like a new... More

Large mall and pleasant for a stroll but no fault to the mall, many of the people there do not seem to know how to behave in public, do not have simple courtesy and sharing of public spaces. The mall itself have a lack of variety in stores, all seem to carry the same merchandise, the new expansion does not... More

Centrally located in downtown Ottawa. Has a good collection of boutiques and merchants. Great for clothing options. Pretty close to all other attractions.

The biggest selling feature of this mall is the location. If you're in downtown Ottawa, this is pretty much the only mall you're going to come across. There are a few office buildings with services on the ground floor, but this is really the only mall. It gets a good deal of people traffic, and it's almost always somewhat busy.... More
