The self guided tour of the Hall itself only takes maybe 30 minutes, slightly more if you decide to read every last sign and interpretive board. Really you just go through a series of rooms and a guide tells you what happens in that room....More

A good, educational place to show our group of students. We arrived early and spent a lovely time on His Excellencie's grounds. Security took a long time, but were friendly and accommodating of our big group.Some dramatic, beautiful rooms.

It was very interesting to see where the GG lives and all he history in this building. Our tour guide was very informative and funny. It made the tour so much more worth taking.

Rideau Hall is a very beautiful site full of interesting history. The grounds are beautiful, especially all the trees planted by current and past heads of state and royalty (including Nelson Mandela!!). The guides inside were very helpful. They were welcoming, friendly, and knowledgable
