I love going here. When I come to visit Ottawa, i always check to see what's playing. Broadway, dance, orchestra...a wide variety of programming is available. I love the recent renovations and the fact there are no bad seats in the house. The staff is...More

Ugly brutalist style building as cold and unattractive as the city that it's in. Would not return. Too much french programming.

Having been a client since 1971, the changes to the Centre have made it more friendly with its open everyday public spaces. The orchestra has now a sound space worthy of its abilities and the audience can at last appreciate how good this orchestra really...More

The National Arts Centre has some great public spaces you can rest at for a while during sightseeing. It provides cozy furniture and a drinking fountain. Moreover, you can use the sockets and charge your phone or enjoy a (incredibly cheap) coffee at the café.

As a facility it is decent for Ottawa standards, but the quality isn't comparable to Toronto, Montreal or NYC. At one time Opera Lyra produced two operas per year that were poorly attended due to the very mediocre talent which resulted in a lack of...More

Last Sunday we attended Les Miserables (in the afternoon). We enjoyed every second of the play, the theater, the orchestra, the professionalism. Thank you for an unforgettable day!
