An extremely beautiful trail within the Niagara region with varying levels of difficulty. There are also plentiful bouldering spots as cliffs are a common sight. Be aware that there is an elevation of approximately 250m and jagged edges and rocky hills. Great for views of the fall foliage!…

I had selected a few outdoor activities for my husband and me on our most recent trip to Niagara as the weather was supposed to be beautiful when we visited. I chose this trail as we love to hike thinking it would be a nice casual hike - it really wasn't but it was awesome! A few things about our experience: Parking - The parking lot is free but gets full really quickly on weekends. We arrived at 9:30 and had no time parking but when we left at 11 there were no spots left and it was really full. The trails - The trails are really well marked and there are quite a few different trails - there is a map at the beginning to take a picture of if you want to keep track of where you are. You have to descend a pretty big metal staircase to get you down to the trails before you can start the hike. The hike itself is BEAUTIFUL, but a little slippery with the fallen leaves this time of year and the ground is un-even - nothing crazy but just make sure you're wearing the right shoes. Bathrooms - It looks like there are bathrooms only at the top before you go down to the trail. The M/F bathrooms were closed for the season but the accessible one was open from 9 am to 3 I think. There are no washrooms on the trail. Absolutely beautiful and a great adventure and exercise. I'd highly recommend to anyone who is up to get some fresh air and an exciting hike. Depending on the trail you can spend anywhere from an hour to several hours in there.…

Fantastic hike! I went there end of October, which can be a little cold, but totally worth it! The fall colours were extremely vibrant, the contrast between the trees and the water was breath taking. I would say it is the best time of the year to visit there!
