Niagara Falls Grand Helicopter Adventure

334 reviews
First-time visitors to Canada likely have Niagara Falls at the top of their to-do list and the most incredible views of the falls are from above. This helicopter tour offers almost double the time in the air to other tours, so you can enjoy views of not only the American, Bridal Veil, and Canadian Horseshoe Falls, but Niagara-on-the-Lake, Niagara wine country, and along the Niagara River.

Stopped here in 2009 while on a tour with a local Toronto tour operator when on our way to the falls and a misty boat journey. You can look over the clock mechanism that runs this clock in the bunker underneath. Nice stopover but you could spend even more time at the nearby Botanic Gardens . Lots of places to take photos of the gorge and fast-flowing river.

Very nice park, we lucked out on great weather, nice place to walk and bike ride. Too bad no bike rentals in all of Niagara Falls except electric ones.

This beautiful clock is situated along the route from Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake. Well worth stopping by to see it.

I'm not really sure why but we had high expectations for this clock. Maybe this is a bad year because of COVID-19 or something but it seemed pretty unremarkable. Some of the other years looked better. The clock was actually made of plants, with wooden hands for numbers not even flowers and we were underwhelmed. Maybe before a lot of clocks existed it seemed better. We were going to ride bicycles from Niagara-on-the-Lake to see it, thank god we didn't do that. However, we did have a lot of fun expressing our feelings about the clock so in the end we were glad to have visited.

Niagara Parks does such an incredible job with plants and flowers in the whole area, and the floral clock is a great example of this. Sure, it's just something you look at, but it's beautiful!!!!
