Nice area for kids, but was overly crowded. Was like a big state fair, but did offer plenty of places to eat and get ice cream!

I suspect that Clifton Hill is the definition of tackiness as it is full of the kind of attractions one would expect to find in a tourist trap. From wax museums to believe it or not museums and pricey eateries and souvenir shops it is...More

Lots to see and do on this hill. Walk around and take it in. It is a bit (understatement) of a tourist trap. Go and walk around and have a laugh. Great place to people watch. Don't fall for the traps and be careful of...More

We bought the Fun Pass online before we went so we could get 2 rides on the giant wheel. Clifton Hill was fun to visit at night because it was all lit up, but it was VERY crowded. We also visited during the day and...More

Much has changed here since my last visit. (1968!). Ripley’s Believe it or Not, arcade games, souvenir shops, a zombie walk, an upside down house, wax museum, a speedway, Guinness World Records Museum etc. There are lots of chain restaurants, fudge shops, ice creams etc....More

Personally really enjoyed Clifton Hill. We went during late evening and strolled around till night. Lots of good eating place. Going from the UK, we enjoyed the cheesiness of the fair, seemed like a throwback to 80s american films such as Big, and the thriller...More

Stopped here one afternoon during a recent trip. Lots of things to do, very safe area and plenty of choices for food.

If you have time while in Niagara, visit this area specially with your friends or family. You can play, eat or just walk around to see it. You can save money and buy one pass for more than one attraction in the neighborhood.

You can find something to do with the kids or just fun for adults. It's close to the falls and hotels. But many things to choose from for activities.

It depends how many attractions you wish to do. If you get the Clifton Hill Fun Pass (which is 6 attractions), you should expect approximately 3 hours. So if you wish to do more than that I would set aside 4-5 hours here.
