This a must see for any Ontario resident, so important to know/see what was here before the arrival of Europeans. So sorry to see a site like this slowly running down obviously due to lack of support (read $$). Still a must see though.

Great museum for looking at and coming in contact with local native artifacts. You can also have birthday parties or go to day camps at this museum.

I came in wanting to like this place. But the collection is so sparse and poorly curated that I wanted to leave in less than half an hour. Even the Lawson site itself, adjacent to the museum, was a disappointment. There was almost no signage to help a visitor grasp the site... and what signage existed was dated and in... More

We went to London on a weekend trip for some bonding time with my teen. To see the entire museum it took us an hour. We enjoyed seeing he artifacts and going out and seeing the longhouse. Would be interesting to go in September when they have their pow wow

Longhouses, etc did not have many 'comforts' and all you spoiled, pampered people should educate yourselves. Saying the place needs work and in the same breath whining about admission fee is selfish and counterproductive. You want more but not willing to contribute? Shame on you! Looking for bright shiny things? go to Disneyland!

Toured the grounds and learned much about the ways of our indigenous peoples. A must see for all Canadians, learn about Native history and culture..

This could be a really wonderful museum. The collection they have is wonderful and interesting. But it is dated. It needs to be brought into this century. Everything was dusty, and the drawers all stuck. I understand they do some camps with kids as well as host various events which all sound amazing, but the exhibit itself needs some attention.... We love to visit museums, especially ones that tell of Canadian history. So, we were slightly disappointed by this museum's state of affairs. It doesn't look as though it's been properly maintained for some time. It had an air of neglect hang over it. What a shame!

We have been there several times. It is a few hours entertainment. There are some old traditional buildings on site and insite into the culture. I have difficulty pulling the kids from the souvenir store.
