We parked right in front of the Marine Museum of the Great Lakes. Somehow there seems that something was missing. There were no name on that building. We approached it and found the doors were closed. We asked a nearby attraction if this Marine Museum...More

This is closed now with no expectation of reopening soon. Too bad, it was a worthwhile place to visit but it was evicted by the new property owner. The artifacts are stored, and the ice breaker is now back in Thunder Bay where it was...More

As others have pointed out, this excellent waterfront museum left downtown Kingston as did the icebreaker. I have not visited any displays relocated at Olympic Harbour in Portsmouth.

Temporary location so not as good as before. The icebreaker ALEXANDER HENRY has left town. Hopefully the Museum will find a permanent home soon.

Despite all of the advertisements for it, unfortunately the museum has had to close down due to the owner of the mooring charging more than they can afford. Apparently the museum is trying to find alternative ways to re-open, but not in the near-future. I've...More

This floating museum in Kingston is just okay. It was very hot inside and could of opened some windows or have fans. It would also be good if there was a makeover inside, just to freshen it up.

Enjoyed the museum and historical information about the dry dock. The most memorable part is touring the Canadian Coast Guard Ship Alexander Henry. You are able to walk and climb all through the ship. Be careful if you bring children there are a lot of...More
