I really like this course, but the pace of play is awful, in general. I golfed here three times this year, and never made it around in less than 4.5 hours, and once was over 5.5 hours. I think the slow play is due to three things - the difficulty of the course, the low price for seniors, and lack... More

Played there the first time. The course has a great layout. It is interesting, challenging, but not mean. Greens are nicely guarded by bunkers. Environment is serene and the staff and fellow golfers are friendly and polite. I think the course was probably built as a higher end course, and probably designed as a $100 per round type of course.... More

Was here recently & was not happy with the conditions. Due to the drought for the lack of precipitation the fairways were hard as a rock, but surprisingly the greens were in pretty good shape. I would recommend this course only because green fees have lowered and the course is descent. Keep it in the short grass

Visited a couple of years ago and was very impressed. Equally impressed this time. A long drive from the West end of Toronto and a little pricey for the distance but worth it for the course condition, variety of holes, challenging greens and the visuals. Not much water and this - IMHO - is overcompensated by too many traps; i'm... More

When playing in November, we always feel we are playing with house money. Course was in very good condition. Would be much better if golfers followed basic etiquette regarding divots on fairways and ball marks on greens. May have been that I noticed more than usual, possibly turf doesn't recover as well this late in the season. Greens were very... More

Playing late in the day I managed to play 18 holes in less than 3 hours. The downside was that the greens were a little rough from weekend play. The fairways were firm and dry reflecting the lack of rain recently. I felt the course has good potential but conditioning could be better (tees, fairways, bunkers and green). Players need... More

We have played this course at least once every year. Course is always in good shape. Unlike others we have never had a delayed tee off time. Staff are great and helpful. A tough course and not one for a novice player however with so many tee blocks a high handicap can still enjoy the challenge. Good value for the... More

Arrived during a "short" frost delay as stated by the pro. Paid for the round as we expected to go out within a 1/2 hr. 1 and a 1/2 hrs later and a packed clubhouse, we asked for refunds, only to be given rain checks to be used on weekdays despite paying for a Saturday round. I'll onle go back... More

We found Dragon's Fire to be in very good shape, more then challenging for any levels of golfer, though perhaps a bit much for a novice. The course was in excellent shape and offered many interesting holes. We played from the whites but each hole had I believe at least 5 different options. The staff was all very helpful. Even...
