The most interesting aspect about this grand old home is that it is very Canadian. It was the home of an important Ontario politician and business person and displays many of the ways that a wealthy family lived in the per-Confederation era. Well worth a...More

Very nice tour but the guide didn't talk much about the family behind the house. They do allow you to take pics while on tour. Restorations seem to be a little overdone.
