This is place I have visited time and time again. My grown children continue to love this tour. I always learn something new about the early history of Hamilton when visiting. The grounds are lovely and the museum is hosted by staff in period costumes.

The castle and the adjoining military museum are beautifully restored and displayed. The tour guides are informative giving lots of interesting insights into the way people lived in a big house in the 19th century. Great place to visit and an even better place for...More

Thank you for your review! The main floor of Dundurn Castle wheelchair accessible. The museum does provide a discounted rate to our visitors when they are unable to visit the whole museum. When purchasing your ticket just let us know.

IMHO Hamiltons best historical attraction. Great views over the Harbour and a very realistic recreation of the home as it was when occupied by the Upper Canada Governor. Go near Xmas for candle-lit atmosphere.
