We arrived just after opening so we got in right away. We hadn't realized there was a group rate for a carload (we were 3 adults & 1 senior) which was cheaper than individual tickets. The attraction is geared towards kids, and there were lots...More

This place has a bit of everything for everyone. Also lots of places to get food and lots of animals to see! Even has some educational shows that are really neat. ALS showcases animals natural behaviours as opposed to making it look like a circus....More

We headed out late for our trip up the 401 from Chatham, Ontario to African Lion Safari. A combination of getting small children loaded up, and the obligatory stop at Tim Horton's before hitting the road contributed to the lateness. We usually like to get...More

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
When you are driving through the game reserve, do you have to go at the pace of the cars ahead of you, or do you have freedom to stop and go as you wish? Also, can you enter again once you have exited the game reserve?

Well take your time ..the animals aren't that aggressive, however the lioness was sure fiddling with the rear bumper of the car in front of us
Hi there, We are thinking of taking our kids tomorrow (Sept 25th). Wondering if there is a change in animal behaviour at this time of year i.e. will the animals be out and about just as much as they were in the summer? Many thanks everyone.

Because it is cooler, they will likely be more active.
Hello, I would like to know how many hours would be enough to have a thorough visit?

You can get through the Safari in 90 minutes, it is self-paced. You should allow time for the other shows, too. I would expect 6 hours to be a minimum.
