Took my son's family of 5. Gorgeous day. The water park was a big hit. They loved the misters to walk through. Even rode on an elephant.

I recommend going to the tour bus. It's a great place and fun. I think it's about an hour or so. You get to see lions, monkeys, giraffes, and even ostriches! It's a fun trip to go with family and especially when you love animals. Overall, I think you should come to this safari and experience all the great things... More

Lots to see and do, take the tour bus not your own car as animals can damage it. If you do take your vehicle keep the windows closed.

My son loves animals and we were traveling with my grandparents who do not like to partake in long walks. So we decided to come here for some fun with them because we knew that they could stay in the vehicle and not have to do a long walk! The day started off for us with checking out the elephants... We got these tickets from another person we found on Kijiji. Posted them for half the listed price on the website. We currently live in Hamilton, only a short 10 minutes to the actual exit to go to African Lion Safari. Due to the nature of the park, its very far from civilization which is very nice. Its a enjoyable... More

- Visited at least four times - Very good for families and children - Entrance fee was expensive. Yet, this is a seasonal place, and they might have been able to lower fees if it's open year-round - Elephants Show was nice - The lions area crossing was great! - Elephants swim not very nice. My little ones believe that... More

This autumn we took our kid to the lion safari and were not disappointed. The facility itself is very outdated but the park with the animals are where it's at. Remember, well fed wild animals get huge and these Lions, Rhinos and so many other animals are awe inspiring. Go see some beautiful wild life before really poor people kill... More

An excellent one for a day out with family especially to introduce younger children to the bigger animals on the food chain, from a distance. If you enjoy photography, it's your place to capture your favorite animals in their natural moods. Lion Safari has some great shows to do with birds of prey, elephants !,and some exquisite interactive birds from... More

Every time I visit the African Lion Safari, I am amazed at the changes made to the park and am quite pleased with their progress! As I walk around viewing the Birds and Animals that aren't included in the Tours, they seem to pay me more attention than any one else. At the Elephant Exibbit, they were all in the... More
