The Sanderson Centre is one of the most beautiful restored theatres in Ontario and, at 1125 seats, one of the larger such venues. Formerly the Capitol Theatre, a movie cinema, the interior had been ill-used for decades. The gorgeous ceiling frescos had been painted over and at one point the owners contemplated having the auditorium carved up into a cineplex.... More

Saw Gordon Lightfoot, Holly Cole here..loved every minute of it! Beautiful building and great acoustics...even Holly Cole mentioned the acoustics were better than any place she had played!

The Sanderson center is absolutely stunning. I've been in many a theatre and this is up there with the best of them. That being said, being a dance mom I do have to say that this is possibly the worst venue I've ever been to for a dance competition in terms of changing areas and rehearsal space. I would give... The centre is smaller and well-suited to theatrical or musical productions of smaller scale. Very nice décor and comfortable seating. Somewhat reminiscent of some of the "finer" movie theatres of the "sixties". An enjoyable evening out with lots of available free parking in close proximity.

A very historic building with a capacity for over 1000 yet the feel of a small town theater. Great seating, wonderful acoustics and an exciting assortment of entertainment venue for all.

The Sanderson has old school charm with modern updates. I've been many times right from my children's dance recital to Burton Cummings the sound is excellent, the seats are comfortable, and the theater its self is beautiful and well taken care of. Can't go wrong seeing a performance here.

I found the ticket reception so friendly and easy to book with. The theater is such a beautiful building, great that it was saved. Interesting with all the pictures of the performers who have been there on the walls. The seats are so comfortable and the volunteers so helpful for you to find your seats. Abba was a great show... We saw a Grand Ole Opry Christmas show last week. It was really good and the cast was very talented. It's a beautiful little theatre and is a credit to the city of Brantford. We've visited before and enjoyed other shows. We've already booked to see an Eagles tribute in February.

I could and should be a little bias reviewing this Theatre, the reason being I live in Brantford, Ontario. Over the years its transformation from a cinema to a wonderful live venue, its only just that I give it five stars for this amazing building. The inside is beautiful, every seat is excellent, and the entertainment that they have is... More
