Awesome place to visit. We enjoyed the jungle jeep ride. Gorumara resort staff was great. Not too fancy but a nice place for an over nighter. I would definitely visit again.

Overall good. Most of the hotels are in Lataguri. Don't stay near Murti river. Very costly. There are large local markets. Restaurants are of average standard.

Left Kolkata on Nov 23rd for NJP via Darjeeling Mail. Reached NJP on Nov 24th. Took an auto and went to Siliguri. From there boarded a state bus for Falakata. From Falakata went to Jaldapara National Park, Salkumar Gate. Though Madarihat is very popular with many resorts and lodges but I went to Salkumar gate which is newly opened with... More

Though I've visited only a part of Dooars I.e. Gorumara and Chapramari but that is enough to have an idea of its mesmerizing beauty. Dooars is another name for serenity and tranquility. And a 360 degree greenery is something for which you will be attracted to Dooars again and again at all times of the year.

I just love to send holidays in Dooars. All Jungles are very adventurous from Buxa to Lataguri. It is a combination of river, forest & tea estates.

We reached lataguri on 24th sep 2016. Our 1 and half days completely ruined bcz of heavy rain. We stayed at d cottage whole day. Next day we visited a lot of places like Bindu, samsing, neora river, kalimpong, Bhutan border, murti river. It was a whole day outing. Bindu dam is a must visit place. A high security area... More
