Ok it is s library but it has some performances inside from Time to time. It's also in a cool area on Spring Garden and the cafe inside (Pavia) is very good also.

I used one of their meeting rooms. Easy to book, reasonable price, great facility. Parking was good too. The cafe on the ground floor served good coffee and cake.

This is a great place to come to learn a little culture and have a great view of the town. There is a nice cafe too.

What an amazing library. So beautiful, amazing coffee shops, free WiFi and a great view. What a community asset. Was glad we popped into the library on our visit Halifax. Also incredible art mosaic on the wall.

If you go to the Halifax Public Libraries web-site there is a kids events listing on the left hand side.
