I haven't given this 4 stars because I don't know what it's like as a library - and that after all, is the point. However, it's an interesting modern building and the cafe on the top had a great exhibition of contemporary photography and has...More

Didn't really look when this place was built but it seems pretty recent. The architecture is pretty futuristic and the ample seating in various shapes of art is really interesting

We had a lunch here on the 5th? floor that had a great view overlooking Halifax harbour. The food was a bit high priced for what it was, but the lattes were excellent.

We spent an hour or so in here as it was wet outdie. The building is lovely to look at and very spacious inside. There was also a great collection of local cookbooks and and really good one on local architecture.
