We were pleasantly surprised at the residence commons at Gerrard Hall. They had a kitchen area with a TV lounge and pool table and ping pong table.

Dalhousie is a great university, but not really much to walk around. Lots of 7o's architecture. Kings College, which is right there have lovely stone buildings. The nearby neighborhoods are beautiful, though!
