One thing I LOVE about this place? There's a floor for everyone. Took teenagers, an 11 year old, a 4 year old and two twin toddlers there and all of them had a fantastic time. That should tell you everything you need to know :-)

We took our granddaughters aged 3 and 7 to the Discovery Center for approximately 3 hours and didn't even begin to scratch the surface of all there is to do there. It is a place we can take them time and time again. Very well...More

Our first sign that we should not have entered was the welcome. We approached with 2 adult children, both in university. We naturally asked about student rates, since all the other Halifax museums etc offered such a discount. Told "no", we then asked about a...More

Wasn't even aware of this place but was recommended we take the girls there (they are 7 and 9) and they loved it. Something for every kids interest level. Kind of like an Ontario Science Center lite if you've been there, you can probably cover...More

We loved it. The kids loved it even more. We had to drag them away at the end of the day. The temporary T-rex exhibit was terrific, but the interactions upstairs were even better. We would highly recommend this attraction.
