Peggy’s Cove & Halifax

6 reviews
Why not combine our two most popular tours into one? See the sights of the historic port city of Halifax and then take in the famous breathtaking sights of Peggy's Cove.

Our tour would commence from Pier 21 with its Historic block as the "Ellis Island" of Canada, where more than one million immigrants came through and more than 500,000 left from during WWII.

From there we will visit St. Paul's Church, the oldest Anglican church in Canada. As well, St. Paul's Church was among some of the buildings that withstood the Great Halifax Explosion of 1917. We will drive on to Fort Needham Hill where a memorial carillon was built for the victims of that explosion. Then we'll be on to Canada's most famous lighthouse.

Peggy's Cove is one of the most unique, captivating and exhilarating eye-openers in Nova Scotia. The quaint seaside hamlets of Shad Bay, Big Lake, East Dover and West Dover, to mention but a few, are also breathtaking.

They let anyone in on certain days making the facility over crowded and it becomes not a good environment for fitness or health. Poor hours and they make it a red cross shelter which means the facility is not open unless you are sheltering there...I paid money to access the facility during their posted hours of operation and that's still not good enough. Avoid this place and find a smaller gym

My 10 year old daughter signed up for a class then was unable to attend. When I asked if she would be able transfer to another Class, I was told that we had to apply two weeks before start of the class and there is nothing they would do to help. Then the administration took my money, and left my daughter with no classes at all. Thanks for ripping us off!!

Even hosts their own Subway cafe for lunches...this naturally lit sports centre has lots of parking and easy access to washrooms etc. I rented the Arts and Crafts room for two workshops and had a good experience doing so. Rentals as a little pricey though...

Recently signed up for a family membership here. Staff were great, facilities clean and well maintained. Lots of options for everyone to be active and enjoy themselves. Pools are great.
