A tourist trap -- overpriced, overcrowded, too short. We paid $73 CAD for two adults, including a $4 fuel surcharge. NOTE: This is a sailboat. With actual sails. That the crew used for about five minutes. Even though the breeze was sufficient for us to actually sail. We never left the harbor, merely motored across to Dartmouth, up to the... More

Very nice experience with friends and not very expensive. You can have refreshments, beers and the cruise is about 2 and a half hours long with a historic commentary about the harbor and Halifax.

Tall Ship Silva was one of our stops during a bachelorette party I threw ! We went on Saturday night from 1030-1230... & this was definitely the best time to have gone ! We really lucked out & had a lot of other groups on this sail which made it extra fun ! The DJ was awesome, and unexpectedly played... More

A very good experience. A very calm day helped, if it had been a bit rough, well? Saw contrasting ship in harbour, Queen Mary2 and Greenpeace. This trip is well recommended.

Spent an afternoon on Tall Ship Silva. Had a couple beers as there was a bar, enjoyed the beautiful Harbour and some history from the crew. The rest of the time they played some music which was nice. Overall a lovely afternoon. This trip was good value: $30 plus tax for the 90 minute tour.

Opportunity to join the last wine cruise of the season. Luckett Vineyard hostess Gena was knowledgable and a pleasure to talk to about her wines. The food pairing were terrific. Kudos to the Chef. Lots of seafood and other appetizers for everyone on board. All 125 patrons. Staff and servers were very organized. Extra bonus was the evening sunset sail

We took a 1 1/2 hour harbor cruise with our 11 year old son. He was fascinated by the ship and sights and the crew spent most of the trip explaining everything to him in detail. They were so nice! The trip itself was a low key break from the frenetic pace of traveling. It is a bit pricey but... More

Disappointing. We had sailed on a sailing ship in Lunenburg Nova Scotia the previous week but decided to take our 2 children with us in Halifax the following week. We left the harbour and they then hoisted the sails but they are just for decorative purposes as the motor was used the entire time. I accepted that, but was disappointed... More

We took the 6:30 evening cruise. It was lovely with several platters of finder food on handy on deck. Drinks were available to purchase in the cabin. Weather was perfect. We watched the sails go up and a passenger was invited to help with the sails it was quite entertaining. Lovely relaxing music played as we floated around the harbour.... More

Tall ship 1.5 hrs harbour cruise - $25 each - great time. Lovely old baot, bar and bathrooms on board. Not sure of the guys name but apart from the two skippers and a girls crew hand - he was only other one - great commentary from him and very informative about the whole ship and harbour and Halifax itself...
