Très beau petit parc riverain d'Halifax (Bras Nord-Ouest)

Situé juste en face du Parc Flinn, le parc de l’Île Horseshoe est un magnifique endroit pour faire un arrêt (petit stationnement accessible par Quinpool Road) que ce soit pour relaxer, observer des oiseaux aquatiques, se balader ou y faire un pique-nique devant un superbe plan d’eau (Bras Nord-Ouest), que ce soit en début ou en fin de journée (très beau coucher de soleil) lors d’une visite d’Halifax. De beaux sentiers de marche y ont été aménagés. Pour les amateurs de longues balades, on peut même rejoindre le Regatta Point Walkway de l’autre côté de la rive et se rendre jusqu’au Sir Sandford Flemming Park pour y admirer la tour du même nom.
