I would not drive out here especially, but it is good to stop on your way past. The ruins of the old redoubt are crumbling and the atmosphere is a little desolate - but still very evocative.

Not much here but on a clear day you have a great view of Halifax Harbor. Unfortunately on the morning we visited the fog was like pea soup.

The view from up here is incredible. Overlooking the harbour mouth, a great place for ship spotters. The cannons overlooking the harbour entrance are very impressive.
