Liz, our guide on this tour, provided very interesting insights into how the Halifax community was impacted by the sinking of the Titanic. The main portion of our tour was focused on Fairview Cemetery, where a number of the victims are buried. Liz made ``history come alive'' and told how the events of the sinking extended well past the rescue... More

Enjoyable, enlightening way to see the city and get a feel for where everything is located before returning to specific places. The buses may be old but they are well maintained. The website advertised two routes but there was only one (a very good one). The lady directing us to our bus was very pleasant and helpful. Guides were informative,... More

We have done a lot of the Hop On, Hop Off style buses in many cities around the world and $49.99 is by far the most we've paid anywhere. That is saying a lot considering that we've done them in some of the most expensive cities in the world. Halifax is a beautiful city but there just isn't enough attractions... More

Our tour guide, Ellen, was excellent...very knowledgeable and entertaining. She is definitely proud of Nova Scotia, and even shared a blueberry recipe with us all! The scenery is beautiful and, yes, Peggy's Cove is a lovely destination...quaint and picturesque. We were the first bus to arrive but within 15 minutes, at least another 6 buses came in and the area... More

This is one of the most unorganized tours ever. They were 45 minutes late picking us up and take us to the store. When we got to Peggy's Cove they told us instead of one hour you are 40 minutes here because we were late. But we got back on the bus and we're heading back to tour guide decided... More

I wanted to the tour to Peggy's Cove and was offered a 5% discount. When I booked the code didn't work. Booked anyway. Then got a call several days later saying the tour was not offered on the day I booked. Won't use Gray Line again.

Very good tour. Had overview of Halifax city which was helpful when wa returned from Peggu's Cove. Tour guide was excellent and very informative during the ride to and from Peggy's Cove. Bus was large and had the bend I the middle.

We took two tours with Gray Line Ambassatours which we booked at their kiosk in Halifax by the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, which was very straightforward. The first tour we took was a 6 hour trip to Lunenburg and Mahone Bay. Lunenburg is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with houses dating back to the 1700s, when it was established... More

It's a big bus, so best to stay by the front or the middle so you can hear the stories well. Our guide was friendly and spoke almost non-stop the whole 50 minute drive from Halifax. Great stories. But not true that the term Halifax is indigenous (he was from Toronto). Also recommend to book directly or through this site.... More

This is by far the best way to get your bearings before you start traipsing around Halifax on foot. We did the historical city tour and a tour to Peggy's Cove on two different days. David, our tour guide was excellent in every way, but he does need to get a new repertoire of jokes. He was very informative and... More
