Located at the scotiabank centre this is a great find. Covers all sports with an expanded section for Sidney Crosby. No charge for admission, worth going through

Being Sid Crosby fans, we went here while visiting Halifax for a weekend. As expected, there was an extensive Crosby memorabilia collection. But I was also impressed with the other exhibits, celebrating not only professional athletes from the province, but also Olympians and para-olympians. Located in the Scotia Bank Arena downtown - check the hours online. Free.

Tried out the Sport Heritage Walking Tour yesterday. It was a great way to see the city from a different perspective and learn about the strong sport history we have here in Halifax. Going to try the longer walk next time!

We had a few hours free time before reboarding our cruise ship and we were walking up the street and saw a sports hall of fame. We decided to enter and spend some time there. Admission was free and we were treated to an hour or so of exhibits. Most entertaining was Sidney Crosby's family clothes dryer. It was from the Crosby basement and on display. It showed many dents and scuff marks from the 'goals' scored. The Hall was a nice treat on our walk through the beautiful city!
