I've given this a few tries over the years. When I was 14 years old, I thought it was great. The couple of times I've seen it as an adult, I was bored. One marching band after another it felt like. I have to confess that I did not even know what a Tatoo was but agreed to go to the show because my husband really wanted to go. I was in for a surprise and a treat because it was one of the most amazing productions we have ever attend. There was continuous entertainment and the military bands were absolutely amazing. The pageantry was beautiful and awe inspiring. We spoke to people around us who make dertainthey attend every year and they are never disappointed. We enjoyed the event so much that we are already planning a return to Halifax next year so we can attend the Royal Noval Scotia International event again! If there is a possibility of going to Halifax next year, plan your time when the Tattoo will be going on.…

We visited this province. And we had tickets to this event . It was so well done,a lot of marching bands great dancing and many countries represented including the USA .this is a must see if you go to Nova Scotia

I was surprised to read some negatives by other evaluators. The "Tattoo" is an extravaganza with continuous music and unique acts, featuring the Canadian military and military units from other countries. It features hundreds of bag pipes and drum corps with incredible precision marching. It is not broadway; it is everything unique to the spirit that is Canada and the Maritimes. It runs for a week in Halifax in early July.…
