Peggy’s Cove & Halifax

6 reviews
Why not combine our two most popular tours into one? See the sights of the historic port city of Halifax and then take in the famous breathtaking sights of Peggy's Cove.

Our tour would commence from Pier 21 with its Historic block as the "Ellis Island" of Canada, where more than one million immigrants came through and more than 500,000 left from during WWII.

From there we will visit St. Paul's Church, the oldest Anglican church in Canada. As well, St. Paul's Church was among some of the buildings that withstood the Great Halifax Explosion of 1917. We will drive on to Fort Needham Hill where a memorial carillon was built for the victims of that explosion. Then we'll be on to Canada's most famous lighthouse.

Peggy's Cove is one of the most unique, captivating and exhilarating eye-openers in Nova Scotia. The quaint seaside hamlets of Shad Bay, Big Lake, East Dover and West Dover, to mention but a few, are also breathtaking.

The dance floor wasn’t bad and the music was okay. Although, I would not recommand this place for anyone older than 24-25 years old. People start arriving around midnight and after.

The place is over crowded with young people. I would no recommend if you’re older than 25. But, the DJ plays some good music and the dancefloor is really large.

Place as a location and interior of the place is very nice. But music and crowd just nightmare! I was very disappointed with the music, every time I go there, it is same type of music. I can not say old, because some old is gold, but songs they are playing there is just Ludacris.

Music is great we liked Friday night DJ (DXS) more than Saturday but both are really good. The Atmosphere/the club looks great, friendly bartenders, cheap drinks, cheap entrance ($3). Definitely a classier place than most other clubs DT, but I find it was way more classy a few years ago.

I'd be inclined to say that Pacifico is possibly the best night club in Halifax. Does best mean good? Not necessarily. It doesn't have much competition. Staff are super friendly in my many experiences. Drinks are very well priced (my highlights are the 3 for $11 jägerbombs & $4 singles) and cover is very acceptable at $3. Place seems new, well kept. And plenty spacious. So much to do for a dance club. Play pool, video games, watch hockey, and obviously, dance. Just get your coat check together. One person isn't enough, takes half an hour to put my jacket away. Only costs $2, however.
