This Spa is beautiful and their services are # 1 with me. I’ve been going to Remedy since they were on Granville St. The new spa in Spring Garden Place is even prettier. They are very skilled, pay great attention to detail, and you come away feeling fantastic every time. I’ve been a few times during Covid and I’ve always felt protected and at ease. Shout out to Cait Blinn who takes awesome care of me .... Her pedicures and facials are pure magic!…

During lockdown, I bid for their ‘self serve facial bar’ for myself and 5 friends. All monies raised went directly to staff. I think this was very generous and thoughtful of the owner and I was very happy to help, while enjoying the service. Upon arrival, the staff greeted us and were very friendly. She gave us the rundown of their COVID procedures they have in place. The spa is licensed so you’re welcome to order a cocktail, but in our case, we opted for water. Staff: the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Our aesthetician, Cassie was fun and very interactive with our self service facial. We all had our individual spot at their bar, and it was a neat hands on approach facial, while being supervised and best of all, included lots of hot face cloths! Location: the recently moved to their Spring Garden location and wow is it ever beautiful! The spa is spacious, clean and relaxing. Also a bonus if you’re a Starbucks fan, as it’s located just at the bottom of the stairs from the spa! Parking however isn’t great but that’s also applied to most places downtown. Services: I can only speak on our service with Cassie. Although it was a self serve facial bar, the attention to detail and the wealth of knowledge that Cassie provides for my daughters was just amazing. It’s never too early to educate teens the importance of a great skin care routine. With so much emphasis on bougee brand make ups, the skin care routine often gets lost. Overall, I highly recommend Remedy Facial bar and spa. Whether it’s with your family, with girlfriends or just on your own, I have no doubt that it’ll be pure bliss. …

Got a facial and had my eyebrows done. The staff was very friendly and the facial was very relaxing, however my eyebrows were not done well at all. My eyebrows are light brown but she used dark blonde to match my hair when she tinted them and they were way too light. She even stated that it didn't turn out well but made no effort to fix it. I also had them waxed and ended up with a breakout on my skin. …

Went for a facial on my first visit, the girl was very friendly, but a little rough. I did not find it relaxing, my skin didn't feel very good after, and I was a little uncomfortable throughout. It wasn't comfortable but I don't tend to write a place off after one visit, particularly because I can have sensitive skin. However, my second visit left me writing this review. I went in recently just for a simple brow wax, I requested my brows "to just be cleaned up a little". I was not asked about changing the shape or any drastic changes while getting them done, so I assumed she was doing as I asked, cleaning up the stray hairs around the edges. She showed me quickly after and I was laying down and in a dark room so couldnt really tell what they looked like (didn't have my glasses). Once I got to my car I took a closer look, and found that my eyebrow shape was ENTIRELY DIFFERENT and my eyebrows were way thinner, shorter and honestly mostly gone. They now look like those awful super thin and rounded 90s eyebrows that are not flattering on anyone. Do not risk ruining your face like I did. This will take probably a year to grow back, worst eyebrow waxing experience I've ever had.…

The staff were generally quite friendly, however, when my friends asked for more makeup remover they refused to give anymore. When they asked again for some more after the second cleanse, she seemed to ignore her and said "Okay, moving on to the next step." I sometimes felt rushed between steps, but also could be because there was 7 of us. We were a bit crowded at the counter so I would recommend only going with a smaller group. The staff were very knowledgeable and answered all our questions.…
