If you are visiting Halifax, do yourself a big favour and take the ferry to Dartmouth. From the dock exit follow the road across the railway tracks, cross Aldernay Drive and walk straight for approximately 15 minutes. You cannot miss Sullivan's Pond on your left....More

This little city park features a nice pond. In the summer on weekends you will see RC boats racing around it. There is a band stand that often has musical entertainment. It also seems to be a favourite location for wedding pictures.

Such a pretty spot to visit - relax and read, lay out in the grass or just watch the ducks. I have never been here for a concert but I think it would be a great location for that as well. Lots of benches to...More

A pretty pond with a tall spray fountain, set in a landscaped park. Look out for the white geese, the duck houses built on a small island and the totem pole.

I love this pond. It’s just a perfectly situated pond in downtown Dartmouth. A recently added palm tree is a welcome addition. Just a great pond to walk around and have a seat on one of the benches. A few geese, a few ducks, a...More

The pond is so much better with the new bridge. It’s a great walk or place to bring lunch & enjoy some outdoor life in the city.

The park is currently under construction. The south side is being dug up to allow light to get to the river flowing down to the harbor. They buried it in the 60s.once this work is complete this park will be very impressive.
