A gorgeous lake with hiking, boating, and tones of wildlife to see! We took a boat ride out and spent 4 hours, but we could have stayed four days!

Take your time to travel around this lake, or inland sea. You will find amazing places and , be careful, you might fall in love and your heart will never leave again. That happened to me.

This is a wonderful, magical lake that reflects the sparsely settled area of Cape Breton Island that it is situated in. It is a huge lake, with many coves and inlets, so as you drive it is well worth stopping along the way to look...More

During our stay in Cape Breton we drove to many spots. This is a beautiful lake be it viewed from the highway, hill or on the shore. Quite enjoyable. Many places to stop.
