While there are some scenic points of view, much of it is a long drive on a road flanked by trees on both sides with no view of the ocean. If that's what you like, go for it.

This was never on my bucket list and I'm not sure why!! This is one of the most beautiful places on earth with the most stunning views all along the trail. Definitely taking my family bringing my family here to experience. It's a place that...More

The Cabot Trail is one of the best Trails you will ever see in Canada. The mountains, the lakes and the greenery is the best . Alexander Bell called Cape Breton God's Country and if anybody visits, they will understand why.

Absolutely amazing place to see the in the fall. Being from Australia we just don’t get trees like this in such vast quantities. Beautiful scenic drive with viewpoint along the way. Take your time and stop as much as possible.

It will be quite chilly. But I think the trails should still be accessible if hiking is your thing. You may also have a good chance of seeing moose and deer (be careful)! We stayed in Baddeck and we took one day to... More

Anything comfortable - it sometimes gets chilly so you probably need some jackets and sweaters. However, I did pretty well in spring with just leggings and some long sleeved shirts + jackets. If you're looking to hike you... More

I would like to stay in Baddeck, a small cute town where Alexander Bell lived. Google it. I love it. Wish you have a fantastic trip in Canada's East Coast. Sorry about the late reply.
