This was our second vineyard on the magic winery tour and it was very informative. Ian took us out to the vineyard to show us the grapes on the vine and talk about growing methods. Then he took us inside to explain the wine making process step-by-step. He was very knowledgeable and talked about the organic method growing grapes and... More

We visited this place as a third winery and were positively surprised. Other than all the other wineyards this one was not about marketing and selling you more tastings. The owners were very informative and talked a lot about how they produce wine and what is important to them. We never had the impression that they wanted to sell. Being... More

Many of the Vineyrads have well trained staffs and large displays, some look like grocery stores. L'Acadie seemed smaller, more intimate. We tried the wine sampler and staff along with owner explained the different wines and processes L'Acadie uses. Our best vineyard experiences have been when staff share their stories and challenges that go into developing a unique and consistent... More

Visited L'Acadie as part of a wine bus tour. The owner gave us a nice tour out into the vineyard (the only one of three we visited that day that took us out to the grapes) to explain the history and the organic process. We were impressed with his passion. The tastings were good, we bought an additional Can$5 flight... More

The young lady helping my wife and I was very knowledgeable and patient with us. We tasted four wines which she fully explained the background on each wine? We fully enjoyed our visit here.

This is a very small place with room for only a handful of people. The owner was informative and explained the process of organic wines. He told us a lot about how the grapes are grown, how the wine is aged, etc. We had the option of 3 wines for $5 tasting or 5 sparkling wines for $10 We opted... More

I only wish they sold them in New York! The wines are very high quality and the Rosé is comparable to ones from the Loire Valley in France. The family who owns the vineyard could not be nicer and were so welcoming and enthusiastic about their wines. Their sparkling wines are award-winning!

Tom, our guide, gave us a full tour of the vineyard, and explained the winemaking process in an informative and entertaining way. Following the tasting, we bought the Brut (awarded by L'efferfescence du Monde) and some of the Mousseaux.
