We travelled the road from Truro to wolfville in July with our trailer. The road is drive-able but not in the best shape. Would not have taken it in a big bus rv. When we visited the Walton lighthouse we were told they were suppose to pave the section from Truro so it may be better now. The section from... More

The road has many twists and turns yes, but the points along the trail are awesome! Burntcoat head park is in my opinion a must see!! Coming through this area of coast is beautiful... take your time and all will be fine..

Burncoat Head is worthwhile, so you have to be on Route 215 to get there, but there's no... More

The Glooscap Trail follows the shores of the Minos Basin and the upper Bay of Fundy into Chignecto Bay. Part of the road, the 215 is litle used and in fairly rough shape, although some paving has been done recently. The main part of the trail, with the most to see and do is in good to excellent shape. It... More

I traveled part of the Glooscap Trail in late June 2009. The condition of the road ranged from bad to terrible. I don't dispute the attraction of sights and places along the way but travelers really need to know that the road (rte 215) is in bad shape. There is major repaving underway in some stretches but others are so... More
