Welcome to Yellowknife! We offer a number of fun, exciting and interesting summer and winter Day Tours and Packages. Our specialty is our Aurora Hunting™ tours! As a 100% First Nation's owned tour company, we take great pride in showing our guests our homeland and sharing our culture and stories from the old days. All of our guides are Aboriginal and from the area. Our primary guide Joe, is First Nation's he is a descendant of the true Yellowknife's Dene, he grew up in the Great Slave Lake area, he knows the history, the places and people of Yellowknife, he knows Yellowknife and he is always happy to share his stories with you. If you are looking for a smaller, more personal tour experience with a local First Nation's tour company then North Star Adventures is for you! We look forward to having you on our tours! :)

The first time to participate in Aurora hunter, very lucky to encounter the Level 7 Aurora. Although the second night of the Aurora, not too strong. But our tour guide renee & laine & sandy very nice. That is a very good aurora hunting.
