A lot of work has been done over the years to make this golf course stand above the others. The rock work and garden desogns and the paved and bricked trails are awesome. Both the Black Duck and Osprey courses are equally beautiful. Restaurant is great but the hours are short. It has ben closed each time we went for... More

The osprey course was a very nice course, don't get me wrong. And The price paid was first class. Given those two parameters my expectations were high. Booked the day before, arranged for club rentals and all was good. Arrived next morning hoping to get a coffee and breakfast before the round. Sorry, members only to get a coffee, but... More

The course has a bit of everything and is usually the best kept and most challenging in the metro area. The major drawback is the lack of course marshals to keep the pace of play going. On a nice weather day, it can be a 5.5 hour round, especially the weekends. The clubhouse has good food, but overpriced for pub... More

Great course on the eastern end of St. John's. In the flight path of the St. John's International Airport...wave to the folks above you about to land! Facilities are new and very up to date. Great food.

I played on the Black Duck and the course was decent enough to play on given the time of year and the conditions, but I could not believe how poor the customer service was, especially for a place that comes across as high end. The group of friends I was with did not feel welcomed from the moment I walked... More

Been a while since I played the Osprey course at Clovelly. At that time it was in excellent condition and in my opinion it is the best facility in the St. John's area. Bring lots of balls because the fairways are lined with thick woods and finding your ball is a challenge. Try to pick a day when it is... More

Fore! is a good way of bringing other golfers attention to what is happening. Here you have 2 fantastic courses, spacious driving range and a good pitch and put area

Both The Osprey, a full length Par 72 course, and The Black Duck, a shorter executive style Par 65 are great fun to play and will challenge even the best of golfers. The fairways roll with the landscaping and the natural habitat ponds and fescue require every shot to be played with caution. Both the fairways and greens are immaculately... More

Played with 3 locals today and it really helped for club selection and line. We had every kind of weather over the round and 2 to 3 club wind throughout. The course was in great shape and the greens were excellent.
