The Rooms is a place for all of us: for those who live here and those who want to experience it fully. Part sanctuary, part showcase, part classroom and part playground, it’s both a destination and a journey. This is a gathering place, a creative space and a cultural centre as distinct and unique as Newfoundland and Labrador. It is our place to come together, to create meaningful and memorable experiences. It is our place to share the best of who we are.

Meal was great and museum was very interesting. The view on a sunny day was good and well worth taking in. The history of Newfoundland is really interesting and well laid out in the museum.

This is a beautiful exhibit showing the history and art of the region. The only thing I would recommend is not to take a large purse or backpack. They made me put my backpack purse in a locker and I was very uncomfortable leaving it...More

My son (8 yrs old) and I visited today. What a great museum showing the Newfoundland history of participation in WW1 and many other exhibits. Beautiful views of Signal Hill can be seen from here. A must see when in St. John's.

Great historic coverage of this part of Canada. The cod industry was king and the Rooms has great displays of its history. The First Nations people were well represented in the facility.

I've been here many times but most recently with a friend from our of town. The view is simply spectacular. The collections rotate and are always interesting. There is a fabulous cafe inside with delicious food too. Well worth the admission price.

This is a must see if you're interested in the history and culture of Newfoundland! The exhibits were informative and showcased Newfoundlands rich history. Lovely lunch spot inside. Perfect spot for a rainy day, or any day for that matter!
