George street is great if you’re 20 having went to MUN I loved every chance I got to see George Street but now having returned as an adult it’s a different ball game! The pubs are still great though!

If hustle and bustle is your thing then this is the place to enjoy it. But this Geezette prefers more sedate, quieter things to do. Am I sorry I went there? No, but once is enough for this gal.

Several choices Delta, Jag, Blue on Water, Sheraton, Marriott, Quality and Alt hotels are all walking distance to George Street. Sheraton is the furtherest at about 12 minute walk with Jag and Delta closer at 2 minutes.

It is a very short street with a handful of bars. Early Aug would be busy with tourists and late Aug busy with university students returning to school.
