Not the easiest to find but a simply wonderful view makes it worthwhile. Excellent storyboards at the monument give details that school history neglected. Hubby and I both learned new and intriguing details of Cook and NL. Well worth the stop.

A must when visiting Corner Brook as this lookout offers massive panoramic views of the city and the Bay of Islands as well as the Blowmidown mountains to the west. About 15-20 minutes from center of town.

Other than view that over looks the area & taking photo there really is nothing to see. If you miss this it’s no loss.
