Gorgeous trail, great views. Part of the trail was closed due to snow.

Absolutely a treasure and it starts right in town. I started in the Margaret Bowater Park and there was a foot of snow all over. Loved it. Part of the trail was difficult to walk... read more

Absolutely a treasure and it starts right in town. I started in the Margaret Bowater Park and there was a foot of snow all over. Loved it. Part of the trail was difficult to walk because of the foot of snow and part was closed, due to the snow, I guess. The views were fantastic, the sunshine definitely added to... More

I visited the trail with friends while the foliage was at it's peak and it is one of the most beautiful trails I've ever visited. I was amazed with the color of the leaves... it just leaves you breathless. The trail is very close to the cruise ship terminal so it's easy to walk to.

It was Port of Call for our cruise ship, we had not booked any excursions. The true gem and highlight of this town is the trail; it is accessible from town. It is an easy trail to walk, but you can go to a more moderate part of the trail if you desire. It is very scenic and beautiful.

Four of us went for a walk off the cruise ship. We walked thru town, stopped in for coffee and then walked the trail. Beautiful walk next to the stream with swans and ducks swimming and honking. The trees were simply beautiful in their fall colors. Highly recommend!

My family and I stopped on a whim. We enjoyed our tour immensely. An excellent chance to get close to some beautiful train relics. Make sure to donate to this museum.

What a great trail system right in town. Lots of benches to sit at and just look out at the water or the trees. Loved it.

This is a well-maintained trail, suitable for families, along a meandering stream, in a beautiful boreal forest. Need I say more?

we had some time before we could get our room in the nearby hotel so it was suggested we take a walk around the lake - we were told it would take an hour. Well we did it twice in less than an hour but it was worth it both times. The trail is well maintained though some is "forest"... More

We walked this trail to get some exercise for ourselves and our dogs before taking the night ferry. Great trail in the city. Beautiful area!

This is a great hike to do at any time of day but we did it at sunset and the views were amazing! The gorge and overall trailway were beautiful. This is a great place to take a picnic and spend a few hours.
