This is not a working lighthouse. When open, it basically is an ice cream shop and (possibly) a night club or place to get alcoholic beverages. We were there the 2nd week of September and it was closed for the season....having closed after Labour Day....More

The Lighthouse is a must visit place when in Fredericton. It is short walk from downtown area and a leisurely stroll from Delta Hotel. Prefer visiting it in the evening to get an amazing view of the sunset.

It was a really nice looking lighthouse, on an interesting river. There was an ice cream shop nearby.

We got an ice cream and enjoyed the view in a nice day. Staff serving ice cream seemed a little rude/uninterested. Relaxing, but not a trip highlight for us.

Stop by and take a few photos outside, then climb the steps for another photo opportunity as you look up and down the river.

We enjoyed the lighthouse museum. Very informative and interesting photos of many lighthouses in New Brunswick. Nice city view at the top from the lookout.

The stairs lead to a good view of the water and the town. Ice cream for sale. A good stop to take in the view and enjoy an ice cream while you are at it.
