This visit was included in our itinerary and I am glad it was. The content is pretty eclectic but it gives you insight into the culture and way of life in the North. Enjoyed it.

A great collection of art work and information about the native people. There is also a small gift shop area with a large supply of books covering all areas, from cooking to biographies of people, and nature.

For a small town, this is a very well done museum, the displays are nicely shown and organized, the curators very happy to chat and explain. It has one of the nicer gift shops in town, with the best variety of books for all ages.

We enjoyed going through the Eskimo museum - full of interesting items. We also enjoyed their gift shop for good trip mementos. The Churchill Wild tour brought us to the museum in the afternoon before our flights back to Winnipeg and home.

We stopped here as part of our tour. It had a lot of interesting animal displays and information on the culture and area. The gift shop was also a favorite as many took advantage of that. Talk to the curator working there as they can...More
