The Whistler Sliding Centre is home to the fastest ice track in the world....

The Whistler Sliding Centre is home to the fastest ice track in the world. Since hosting the bobsleigh, skeleton and luge competitions during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, the Whistler Sliding Centre continues to challenge the sports’ most elite athletes with international competitions, recruiting camps, and ongoing youth programs. Visitors are invited to tour the state-of-the-art facility, or experience the action first-hand with passenger bobsleigh (winter and summer) and skeleton rides (winter only) down part of the 1,450 meter-long ice track.

Summer Bobsleigh runs daily from July 1 until September 4, 2016!

Throughout the summer season, Daily Tours are offered at 11:00am.

Athlete training on ice will start again in October 2016, public Bobsleigh and Skeleton programs will resume in December 2016.

Year-round, visitors can access the Whistler Sliding Centre's public areas for Sightseeing daily from 9am until 5pm. Site access is not permitted outside these hours.

Encouraged by our family that this would be fun thing to do my husband had a go. Having been given an arrival time when we booked he was given really thorough information about the ride which included Where he would be positioned in the bobsleigh and why. It was a really good experience with a photograph included in the price!... More

I just had to write a review about my bobsledding experience as I came within seconds of NOT doing it and I'm so happy I did!!! As I was about to back out a driver came up to me and asked if I was afraid of the speed. I said no that I love to go fast BUT I did... More

We visited on a Sunday for a bobsleigh experience. We needed to book in advance. The set up is professional, with a comprehensive briefing first-up. Check weight and height restrictions in advance if unsure. One person in our timeslot (which had around nine groups allocated to it) was placed in a different sled due to weight/height considerations so there is... More

Well worth doing, if you are an adrenaline junkie then do the skeleton. What a buzz. The staff are really helpful , informative and make you feel relaxed about sliding head first down a icy track @ 100km/hr.

Had a great time on world's fastest bobsledding track. 75 mph. Now have better appreciation for what I have seen on Olympics.

Worth every penny. Highlight of a long trip through BC. Did the skeleton and the bob sled, you couldn't wipe the smile off my face after each run. Seriously exhilarating. I preferred the bob sled as you could take in the ride a bit better from a seated position rather than laying down. My girlfriend preferred the skeleton though so... More

The bob sleigh experience, whilst brief, was absolutely awesome. In the final few turns the speed, combined with the tight confines of the track are unbelievable. Super cool... My wife and I did it, I am much more of an adrenalin junkie/thrill seeker than her and we both loved it.

A great experience. The staff were reasurring, helpful and friendly. I felt safe and ready to go and I really enjoyed the bobsleigh. What a trip! A bit difficult to know which way to walk from the lifts (we went up the hill after the car park), but as always the lift staff and everyone you meet are friendly and... More

We booked this 6 weeks ahead of time. What an absolute blast. We loved Lucas from australia who was our pilot. I am 54 years and it was no problem. The whole package from check in to ride was stress free. All proceeds go back to helping train the athletes. It is a real rush. Put this on your bucket... More

Very fun activity. A small lack of communication for the spectators; not sure where we were supposed to be. Very friendly and helpful but maybe just a bit more initiative in communicating with families so they can view the experience too.
