A hidden gem. Lots to see. Interesting descriptions given by the staff. A chance to hold some bugs. Not a large space but packed with lots of different species. It's warm and humid inside, so hang coats up in the entrance.

My fiancee and I came here on a whim as we wanted to get out of the rain - and it was worth it! The staff were very knowledgeable about the different bugs that they had in the zoo and you get to hold most of the ones they had on display! They were very conscious of making sure that... More

I have to say that prior to coming here, I really didn't give much thought to bugs or find them very interesting to look at. Although it is quite a small space, this zoo has many different bugs - all alive - to see and hold. The guide was so good with young and older children. She was patient and... More

Was lots of fun! My sweetie "faced her fear" and held a very nice tarantula!!! They are very well behaved critters! Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We spent around 1 1/2 hours there and the time just flew by. The ant tunnels/tanks where especially interesting and I learned a lot about them that I didn't know or even... More

My son celebrated his 9th birthday on March 8 at the bug zoo. The zoo guide we had "Jeannie", was enthusiastic and entertaining. My son loves insects, and although we are locals, this was his first time to the bug zoo. He loved the tour and his party. They get the bugs out and let you hold and touch. This... More

It's $12 to go into the Victoria Bug Zoo - but like the bugs they exhibit, it is small and mighty!! The staff does a fantastic job of teaching and sharing the bugs with you. Some of them you might get to hold. (Or if you're a chicken like me, some of them you might not want to hold) Kids... More

We went to get out of the cold and rain with kids and enjoyed the visit. The staff are hands-on and very engaging. If you just walk past the exhibits is one thing, but spending time listening to the staff and holding the creatures makes it much more memorable.

Wonderful exhibit with many different types of insects. We are both adults and enjoyed it very much. The kids in attendance were VERY engaged.
