Store is beautifully laid out with expert salespeople answering all manner of questions. They are true to their brand; beautiful buttons, quality wool and needlecraft products. There is a small selection of ribbons as well.

Nice little shop with a nice variety of yarns. A little disappointed that they didn't have any local yarns.

What a wonderful selection of yarn the carry for knitting, unique bottoms for sewing and knitting projects. Great yarn for tapestry. Lots of knitting needles. And for the cross stitching people, wonderful patterns and kits to purchase. Hard not to walk out without buying anything. Look for the big red button on the sign of the store and you are... More

Only a 10-min walk from the Inner Harbour, this yarn store has a nice selection of popular yarn such as Malabrigo, Araucania and Cascade. I bought some Filatura di Crosa while I was there. As their name suggests, they also have a large variety of buttons.

Always enjoy time in this store when visiting Victoria. Love the cross-stitich kits and supplies, always look at all the incredible buttons (need to plan a project requiring wonderful buttons before my next visit) and admire the huge selection of knitting supplies and wools! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Wish I lived closer!

What a beautiful shop filled with every colour and texture of yarn. Haven't knit or done needlepoint in years, but inspired to start a new project just visiting this beautiful place. Reminded me of my fav yarn shop in Japan. Great selection of bamboo needles. If you like needlework, this is the shop for you! Bonus: this crowded shop has... More

I really enjoyed visiting Button & Needlework Boutique. They have lovely yarn, high quality yarns for knitting and I thougt the prices were comparable, if not slightly better than, to what is available in the states. She has a wonderful selection of cross stitch charts -- I could have spent an hour or two going through them all, but the... More

although that would be enough for me! Ever on the search for unique ribbon, I found a lot of it here. Also, the buttons are more than just something to hold your blouse together! They're pieces of art in their own right, and, can be used for other things...charms, sewn on a jacket instead of a pin, etc. Had a... More

This is a wonderful little shop to visit and they have an online presence, too. Full of fabulous decorative items for the sewer/crafter, great implements such as quality scissors, a lovely place to while away an hour or two if you're a crafter type. They were located in a delightful area of Victoria, but they've just moved so I can't... More
