Visited on a rainy day. A modern cathedral by British standards but very nice. Lovely stained glass wiindows. Very interesting. Unfortunately my peace was shattered by, I presume, ladies cleaning the upper chapel. They were chattering away and their voices were carried, meaning my quiet time was spoilt.

Everything in CCC is a sublime experience. Michael G. is our national treasure! Malcolm R. and the walking group is the happy exercise with elegant people. The choir is divine.

It feels like Notre Dame Chartres Cathedral to me in my own city. So, for my daily pilgrimage, I just cross a road from YMCA and here I am in my sacred heart destination. Even labyrinth is there; not inside of church like in Paris but outside on a right side in a park…enjoy visiting this historical icon in Victoria.

Christ Church Cathedral is an imposing and impressive icon in Victoria and worth a visit. As the city is relatively new in world history, it is interesting for it to have a cathedral of this scale, one whose cornerstone was laid by Sir Winston Churchill, no less. It is open most days for quiet contemplation and peaceful exploration. Sometimes you... More

We have been visiting Victoria for over 40 years and had never found or even heard of this cathedral. It is awesome in the true sense of the word. Stained glass windows are amazing and we had a wonderful tour around given by one of the Cathedral stewards. Do make sure you go up the staircase to the right just... More

such a beautiful Cathedral, I went there often when I was a young girl. I wasn't Catholic but went there with my friends from school. It was back in the 50's.

Visiters are welcome to go in an look at the cathedral when services are not on and it is worth the look. It is an old-world style gothic structure in the new world. There is a story that while the arches were being constructed a robin made her nest, one of the stone masons created a stone robin and nest... More

Beautiful building. Attended a concert there (Handel's Messiah). Acoustics OK, but seating was terrible. It is a church of coarse and seating is on pews, so it would be wise to bring a cushion!

This is a beautiful building and the people working inside were so friendly and generous with their knowledge. It was a very enjoyable visit.

This church is very beautiful and is full of history. Very nice architecture it's open until 6 so you have plenty of time to check it out on busy days. Make sure to drop a donation in the box.
