Interesting architecture

We did the self-guided tour. Fun historical photos on the walls. Beautiful murals. Nice view of the harbor from up high.

Make sure you go on a tour when visiting because it is really worth hearing the stories behind the stained glass windows and other artifacts. This is a great place to visit for tourists and locals. If it's open, the restaurant is very nice to visit as well. I believe it's open when the provincial government is sitting.

Cruising Puget Sound & San Juan Islands on the American Cruise Lines "American Spirit" Day 4 Waterfront walk in Victoria, British Columbia After our visit to the famous Butchart Gardens, there was time to walk around the foreshore at Victoria, the most impressive of the buildings was the dominating British Colombia Parliament Building, with a large grassed area in front,... We just saw the building from the outside. Sunny, cloudy, day or night, this building always look so beautiful! The surroundings are very beautiful too so it is a great place to start your city tour!

We didn't tour the inside. But the architecture is beautiful as are the grounds The large sequoia tree in the front is a gift from California and thriving quite nicely. The building is beautiful at night when it is lit up If not a tour, it is definitely a sight to take in for a few minutes up close. I... More

A beautiful building, focal point of the Inner Harbor. Beautifully illuminated at night, and gorgeous garden/lawn area to relax during the day. We took an organized tour, however it is manageable to walk around on your own and learn the history of the building and British Columbia. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice walk around the grounds and you can get nice photos from the other side of the street near the steam ship terminal. It's lovely at night it has loads of colourful lights all round it and the fountain it lit up in a green tone too.

Thank Tom J
